Just realised I haven't been on here since last summer, so my sincere appologies, if anyone has actually been on here!! My mother passed away a year last xmas & we've been sorting her house etc out, omg, an absolute nitemare, so kinda not had much time,, I know folk say how have you no time when retired, to be honest I think I had more time to myself when I was working.
Well as you see from below I had cateracts in both eyes done beginning of last year, & my right eye went a little blurred, so I've just had Yag laser at Spamedica on that eye, & my left eye gets done this Friday, I'll give more detail next time, there's nothing to it.
When you go for Lag Laser, the longest part is the drop put in your eye to dilate the pupil, mine was only about 20 minutes then you go in this room where you sit down & rest your chin on the machine in front of you, a bit like when your having an eye test, but this time they are firing a few lasers at your eye to let mor light in, takes about 5 to 10 minutes & you're done. you can't drive of course the same day.
If you google "Lag Laser Capsulotomy" it will explain exactly what it entails, my right eye is clear now, so after my left eye on Friday I'll report back.
